As we move into the summer, and another hurricane season here in Florida, (June 1 - November 30) I'm reminded of the first documentary I ever created -- CITIZEN WILMA.

The short movie is about the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma.

Here's a link to watch the movie:

The documentary showcases the citizens of South Florida working together to overcome this natural disaster and rebuild the community.

The following year CITIZEN WILMA was nominated for a
Suncoast Emmy award.

In addition, the world premiere screening was held at the
Cannes Film Festival - Short Film Corner.

Film festivals are a great opportunity for visual storytellers to
showcase their talents and network with industry professionals from around the world.
